Information You Choose to Provide
Names Entered in Search Tools
When a name or location is entered in a search box, the query is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. Curry County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
An email or contact-form message may be retained long enough to answer it and maintain the related correspondence. We do not share the message beyond our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Information Collected During Visits
Normal web logs and analytics may record technical details when a page loads, including:
- The visitor’s Internet Protocol address
- The browser name and browser version
- The device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies help measure how people use the site. Most browsers allow visitors to block or remove them, though some functions may work differently when cookies are disabled.
Reasons We Use Data
Information is processed only for the operating purposes described here.
- Keep pages available and responsive
- Send a search request to the selected partner service
- Measure which resources visitors find useful
- Detect errors and correct technical problems
- Present advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests
Privacy on Linked Services
Curry County Released Inmates links to Sheriff and corrections resources, government release-record portals, and outside search providers. After a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy terms control its collection and use of data.
Some advertising companies may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and tailor ads. That tracking occurs on their systems, not in a record maintained by this site.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be provided to:
- Search partners that process submitted queries
- Analytics vendors that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order
Security Practices and Limits
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used to protect information under our control. No website, network, or online storage method can be promised as breach-proof, so absolute security is not guaranteed.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may contact us and request its deletion.
Choices About Personal Data
Subject to applicable law and the information we actually hold, a visitor may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of personal data connected with the visitor
- Correct inaccurate personal details
- Erase information that may lawfully be deleted
- Stop certain forms of processing when an opt-out applies
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as site practices or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
